yoni 從起源作意

Yoni，（Vedic yoni），【陰】
1．女性的生殖器官（the womb），知識，種類。
2．起源（origin），出生地（place of birth），生存界（realm of existence）。
四種生（四生four yonis）：卵生（aṇḍaja；oviparous creation），胎生（胎盤中出生jalābuja；viviparous），溼生（saṃsedaja；moisture-sprung），化生（opapātika；spontaneous）。tiracchānayoni。畜生胎、畜生道。yoniso﹐
【副】從起源地。yonisomanasikāra，
【陽】從起源作意。（古譯作：如理作意。proper consideration）。經中說諸佛覺悟之前都是以觀智，從根源作意（yoniso manasikārā ahu paññāya abhisamayo）：「有生故有老死，緣生故有老死。」乃至「有無明故有行，緣無明而有行」；「無生故無老死，生滅乃老死滅」乃至「無無明故無行，無明滅乃行滅。」（《相應部》S．12．4~10．/II，5~10?S．12．65．/II，104~5；《長部》D．14/II，31．；《雜阿含369經》）經文可作爲yoniso manasikāra譯作「從根源作意」的最佳引證。《瑜伽師地論》說：「若於諦智增上如理及不如理。不如實知，不能盡漏；與此相違，如實知故。能盡諸漏，當知此中聞不正法，不爲寂靜，不爲調伏，不爲涅盤，所起諸智，名不如理。聽聞正法，…與上相違。當知如理。」（T30．840）

abhisamaya：＇Truth-realization＇，is the full and direct grasp of the Four Noble Truths by the Stream-winner （Sotāpanna； s. ariya-puggala）.
